This 12x16 painting was inspired in part by a friend’s painting using similar colors but mostly by an experience I had astral projecting where everything everywhere I looked had a hint of purple. In that experience, I found myself on a boat in the middle of a purple and white ocean that seemed to sparkle in the moonlight, despite not seeing a single moon in the sky, just an endless amount of stars. It was very peaceful as I was the only one on the boat, so I tried to capture that in this piece.
