Air Spirit
This 8x8, my smallest piece, was actually the first of the Elemental Spirit series, and was completely accidental, believe it or not. The bit that could be seen as the Air Spirit’s dress flowing behind her as she dances with the leaves was actually due to me not paying attention and dipping my brush in the wrong color paint, which immediately inspired me to make the air spirit, the dancing wind, and the final product inspired me to make the full Elemental Spirit series. This is also the only reason she’s the only one on a square canvas while the others are on rectangles, I was originally just trying to do something to use up my only 8x8 canvas before I opened my next pack of canvases that I then used for the rest of the Elemental Spirit series, so while the size/shape of the piece doesn’t match the rest, it definitely belongs with them. She’s just a silly lil spirit who likes to dance around with leaves and flower petals, but just like the others can be dangerous when angered, hence why tornadoes are so damaging.
